Short & Sweet: The Most Important Tips from the Video
Screen printing
- Ideal for single-color or two-color designs, especially logos and lettering.
- Very cost-effective for single-color designs.
- Enables the precise reproduction of CI colors (Pantone, HKS).
- Exceptionally durable and high-quality paint finish.
- Each color requires its own print run.

Digital printing
- Perfect for multicolored designs, gradients, and photorealistic images.
- There are no restrictions on the number of colors.
- Particularly cost-effective for small to medium print runs.
- Quick implementation, since no time-consuming tooling is required.
Hot foil stamping
- Creates metallic sheen effects (e.g., gold, silver) with a mirror-like finish.
- A distinctive look that cannot be achieved by any other process.
- Ideal for logos and text, but not for images or gradients.
- A separate tool is required for each color.
Please note regarding two-color embossing!
Two-color embossing is technically challenging and can result in a loss of quality, as the colors may blend or the transitions may appear uneven.

Blind Embossing vs. UV Varnish
- Blind embossing: A tactile logo without color, created solely by embossing into the material.
- UV varnish: A transparent varnish that highlights the logo and makes it visible even in low-light conditions.
Recommendation: These days, UV varnish is usually preferred because the logo remains clearly visible even in low light.
Custom Productions

Printable Areas
- For screen printing and digital printing: Leave a margin of at least 1.5 cm from the edges and fold lines.
- Screen printing: The price of the printable area does not depend on its size.
- Digital printing: The inside pages cannot be printed on; screen printing or embossing is required for that.
- For embossed boxes: The lid, flap, and interior surfaces can be printed on, depending on the box size.
